Virginie Ganivet, Co-Founder & Principal
As the director of business development, customer service, and the account management team, Virginie has a unique understanding of the needs of non-profit organizations. Her experience includes a decade working in the IT sector, followed by eight years as executive director of a non-profit. The creation of Cividesk blended her enthusiasm and aptitude for technology with her talent for successfully managing a non-profit organization.
Prior to founding Cividesk, Virginie served as the Executive Director of a Colorado based non-profit. She effectively implemented an ambitious plan which led to increased membership and donations and strengthened programs which benefited members and the business community. She accomplished this with the intensive use of CiviCRM - gaining hands-on experience that she imparts to her clients, ensuring that each organization has a customized version of CiviCRM that best fits their needs.
Before relocating to the U.S., Virginie worked in France in the areas of high-tech product marketing, communications and customer support. She earned a master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique, Electronique et Automatique (ESIEA) in Paris.
When Virginie is not busy with Cividesk, she enjoys hiking in the mountains, skiing, attending concerts and spending time with her family.
Nicolas Ganivet, Co-Founder & Principal
Nicolas leads Cividesk’s marketing and technology strategy and the technical development team. Over the last 20 years, Nicolas has been at the forefront of technology - leveraging cutting -edge innovation for increased results and competitive advantage. He brings a wealth of experience and success in building enterprise and service-based solutions internationally, as well as leading emerging technology development and innovative solutions.
Prior to founding Cividesk, Nicolas held executive positions with Alcatel, Hewlett-Packard, TSI Systems and several emerging new technology start-up ventures. He earned his master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d’Informatique, Electronique et Automatique (ESIEA) in Paris.
Born in the beautiful French Alps, Nicolas thoroughly enjoys the Colorado Rocky Mountains he has made as his new home.
Steve Kessler, Customer Project Manager
Steve is managing our major customer's project implementation. He coordinates Cividesk and sub-contracted resources to ensure a successful and on-schedule project delivery. Steve's experience as both a teacher and a technical consultant give him an edge with our clients as being both patient and technically savvy. Under his leadership, his company has done multiple consulting projects for nonprofit organizations including the implementation of CiviCRM. His teaching prowess ranges from kindergarten to higher education and he has loved every minute of it.
Steve, originally hails from Los Angeles; however, relocated to Peoria, Illinois to earn his bachelors degree in Speech Communication with a minor in Philosophy at Bradley University. After graduating in 2006, he came to his senses and moved to "Colorful Colorado". Since then he has earned his Network+ certification and continues to participate in continuing education.
Steve volunteers for Teaming 4 Technology, teaching computing classes to staff at nonprofit organizations. He likes to spend his spare time with his beautiful wife, Heather, who shows him the zest in life.
Tamar Meir, Customer Support Manager
Tamar leads our customer support operations with a focus on optimization of processes and controls to ensure continuous improvement, efficiency and high quality customer service. Tamar also assists account managers as technical consultant on accounting integration and other special projects.
Armed with an MBA and a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems from Boston University, Tamar's nearly 20 years of experience have helped her hone an expertise in strategic business planning, budget and finance management. Since her introduction to CiviCRM in 2011, Tamar's experience in supporting end users has helped her develop a niche understanding of all things financial with regards to CiviCRM. Tamar is an admitted Excel junkie, and has a passion for languages - English is her first mother tongue with Hebrew coming in a close second. Tamar is also fluent in Spanish, was at one point fluent in French and she now needs 4 hands to speak Italian.
When not working, Tamar lets her artistic side express itself through jewelry design and cake decoration. Tamar, her husband and two children are named after different types of trees, and they make good by their names in sharing deeply rooted, close-knit relationships with family and friends.
Timothée Colmet Daâge, Account Manager
From onboarding new customers to mentoring our customers on their daily usage of CiviCRM, Timothée manages our customer accounts by clarifying client needs, adapting their workflow with CiviCRM and by helping them with their ongoing needs. Thanks to his past experiences as a technical process manager in Europe and China, as well as an entrepreneur, he feels right at home helping translate information between teams, whether they speak a different culture or a different computer lanquage.
After studying computer science in France and Germany, Timothée spent ten years in Beijing, China, where he worked with Fortune 50 clients before starting his own business in the outdoor industry. In 2014 he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area with his American wife where he worked at the French American Chamber of Commerce before joining the Cividesk team.
When he is not meeting with customers, Timothée is often seen outdoor, backcountry-skiing or climbing the Sierras with his wife and dog. He is also a resident flutist at the San Francisco Civic Symphony Orchestra.
Susan Engeman, Training Manager
Susan focuses on client training and marketing for Cividesk. Her work experience includes years spent in both the non-profit and government sectors. Susan holds degrees in International Relations and French from the University of Denver and a Master’s from Penn State University. Her interest in the international field, combined with her fluency in French led her to work in the IT sector for France Telecom and as a trade specialist for the Colorado International Trade Office, assisting companies with promoting their businesses in Europe. She has served as a volunteer on several non-profit boards, notably as president of the Rocky Mountain French American Chamber of Commerce and for the fundraising organization of her local elementary school. Through these experiences, she has gained a particular insight into the non-profit sector.
Susan enjoys collaborating with clients to support them in learning new technology and her detail oriented approach ensures that each organization is provided with a comprehensive and customized CRM that fits their particular needs.
In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, reading and playing bass guitar in a successful all-girls band.
Sara Squires, Communications
The monthly e-newsletter is Sara’s main focus as we create a continuity of information, updates and tips to keep our clients in the loop of everything Cividesk has to offer. Attention to details, formatting and editing have become intuitive for Sara and she enjoys writing comprehensive and informative text.
With over 9 years of administrative and management experience in the local non-profit sector, Sara has a personal understanding and appreciation of the need and value of Cividesk and their services. As a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, Sara has a degree in French Secondary Education with a Minor in English Studies. Being bilingual in English/French and having worked for two years in Paris, France for an international consulting institute, she is enthusiastic to work for a company who is operating on an international level and who serves such a diverse clientele.
When she is not managing her kids and family, Sara is outdoors getting exercise and fresh air while enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather. Travel, cooking, triathlon training, volunteering and time with friends and family are some of her favorite ways to spend her free time.
Yashodha Chaku, Technical Manager
Yashodha has been a member of the CiviCRM core team since the very begining. After graduating from college with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science (Pune University), she started working for CiviCRM. She has always been amazed by the sheer amount of enthusiasm and expertise that community members bring to the table and is now excited to be transitioned as part of this amazing community from being a core team member to someone who will work alongside CiviCRM's customers. Yashodha has seen CiviCRM grow from its nascent stages and is really proud of how far it has come and is keen to contribute back to its steady growth while working with Cividesk.
She has previously been responsible for the various CiviCRM releases which included coordinating with the core team to ensure quick fixes for any outstanding issues, project managing for the India team in addition to working on various pieces of the software.
Born in Kashmir, Yashodha currently lives in Bangalore with her family. She's passionate about traveling, hiking, cooking and spending time with her daughter.
Sunil Pawar, CiviCRM Technology Expert
Sunil performs software development, technical operations and third level support from Pune, India. Working closely with Nicolas, he executes on the technical roadmap, brings new features in the software, resolves technical issues and keeps our servers running.
Through more than 7 years experience in the technology industry, including 3 years within the CiviCRM core team, he has gained a keen understanding of software development and quality assurance processes. He has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from the Shivaji University, and graduated with a M.S. in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology.
Sunil is trilingual in Marathi, Hindi and English. When not working, he likes to watch movies or spend time with his lovely wife and his 2 children.
Sachin Doijad, Drupal Technology Expert
Sachin is handling all of the implementation or migration, operations and maintenance related to Drupal. This includes building custom themes and modules as well as using webforms, views and rules to deeply leverage and integrate CiviCRM data inside our customer's websites.
With nearly 8 years of experience in the software industry, Sachin has had in depth experience with Drupal dating back to version 5, and also has expertise in the PHP Zend/Symfony framework. Sachin studied Engineering at UDCT, Amravati and received his P.G.D.B.M. (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) from Symbiosis International University, Pune.
Sachin is trilingual with proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and English. In his free time, he enjoys playing table tennis, watching movies and traveling with his lovely wife.
